Cbum’s Biography, Competition Career, Diet & Income Sources
Cbum’s Early Life
Bumstead was active in sports as a youngster and was born in the Canadian capital city of Ottawa, Ontario. Cbum participated in well-known sports including baseball, basketball, and football.
At the age of 14, he started his bodybuilding career by going to the gym to do weight training for the sports he liked playing. After that, his passion for bodybuilding only grew.
When he met fellow Canadian lifter Iain Valliere, who spotted his potential and guided him to his first professional competition in 2016 at the IFBB North American Championships, his passion for bodybuilding grew immensely. Bumstead began establishing an internet profile after winning his first professional contest.
Chris Bumstead’s sources of income
Since 2017, Bumstead has been a mainstay in the Mr. Olympia Classic Physique. He received $8000 in 2017 and 2018 from the official prize money for placing second. In each of the previous three years,
Bumstead has triumphed. For each of his triumphs in 2019 and 2020, he received $30,000. He received a $50,000 award after the competition’s prize pool increased in 2021.
Bumstead’s other businesses, however, generate the majority of his revenue. He is a popular YouTuber that publishes videos showing off his way of life, gym routines, tutorials, and inspirational films. Social Blade estimates his monthly earnings from the network at $3,700 to $58600.
Bumstead is a prosperous businessman who runs the Cbum Fitness apparel line and the Raw Nutrition supplement company. The company’s main product line is athletic clothes, including hoodies, tank tops, hats, gloves, and gym gear.
Although it is difficult to forecast the estimations from his commercial efforts, they appear to be doing quite well based on the sales and the ubiquity of Bumstead’s platforms.
Popular supplement companies have already provided recommendations to this Canadian expert. Gymshark, a company known for making high-profile sponsorships, also supported him.
Cbum’s Competition and Career

Bumstead debuted in 2014 at the age of 19, and at the age of just 21, after winning the 2016 IFBB North American Bodybuilding Championships, he received his professional card.
Bumstead gained the title of current Classic Physique Olympia champion in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
He finished second behind Breon Ansley in the same tournament in 2017 and 2018, which was undoubtedly upsetting to him. But in 2019, he delivered an incredible package that helped him win the top prize at the world’s greatest tournament.
Given that he underwent hernia surgery months before the performance, his victory at the 2019 Olympia was amazing.
His victory also gave rise to controversy since Chris Cormier, Ansley’s coach and a former IFBB pro, wasn’t happy with how the contest turned out. However, he and Ansley did have their share of arguments, and they continued to argue until the 2020 Olympia Press Conference.
But Bumstead won the Olympia championship once again in 2021, matching him and Ansley with two victories each, and this time, he accomplished it with more authority. Ansley finished third, so it’s conceivable that this marks the end of their ongoing feud, but we’ll have to wait and see.
The Classic Physique division’s future is now unknown, although Bumstead is most likely not planning to relinquish his title very soon.
